First Blog Post

It's crazy, but I signed up for this blogger account years ago and have never written anything. I guess it's because I feel like I've never had anything to say. I don't know if that has changed much, but for some reason I'm feeling compelled to start blogging, or "public journaling". Hopefully I won't give up, but if I do, this post will forever stand as just one more thing "I meant to do", but as most things, fell by the wayside. On my tombstone it will probably say, "It seemed like a good idea at the time!". Maybe I will try to write some background posts about me... seems like a decent place to start. We'll see.
